His story starts long before the lights and the noise. At eleven, Terry watched his father play Johnny Cash on a weathered Kay guitar—a moment that set something in motion. That Christmas, fate delivered him his first real instrument: a red Gibson ES-335 TD Custom from 1961, passed through the hands of a Vegas musician and rescued by his Uncle Bud in a roadside twist of luck. That guitar is still with him today, sixty years old and the backbone of his sound.

Terry grew up on saxophone sections, garage rehearsals, and late-night practice sessions, but the Gibson shaped his identity. It’s the thread running from childhood fascination to the Space Western world he’s building now—songs with cinematic scale, riffs with outlaw weight, choruses built to lift a crowd off the ground.
